Redline Communications has announced that Divona Telecom, a satellite and WiMAX telecoms operator in Tunisia, has chosen its RedMAX suite of products for a five-city WiMAX network.The USD1 million network build-out
will take place in several phases over the next two years, and will connect the cities of Tunis, Nabeul, Souse, Monastir and Sfax. Divona Telecom is already serving several hundred corporations on an existing WiMAX network. The company is owned by Planet Tunisie, the principal ISP in Tunisia, and Monaco Telecom, a Cable & Wireless subsidiary with operations in Monaco, Algeria, sub-Saharan Africa, Kosovo and Afghanistan.
