The Italian ISP Tiscali has signed an agreement to take television content from satellite broadcaster Sky Italia. Tiscali launched an IP television (IPTV) service in Rome, Milan and Cagliari earlier this week and plans to expand the service nationally in 2008. Tiscali is reportedly also discussing a content deal with Italy’s largest privately owned broadcaster, Mediaset.
