Comcor launches music download service

The Russian cable operator Comcor-TV has launched a music download service using the fully hosted Music2You (M2Y) solution from Nokia Siemens Networks. M2Y offers Comcor-TV customers secure music downloads to PCs and incorporates digital rights management to comply with new Russian copyright laws which will be effective from the start of January. Comcor-TV, which operates under the brand AKADO, is owned by Renova Media and has cable networks which serve around 300,000 households in Moscow.
