SunCom shareholders agree T-Mobile deal

The shareholders of US cellular operator SunCom Wireless Holdings have approved the company’s buyout by T-Mobile USA. The deal, which was first announced in September, will see German-owned T-Mobile pay USD2.4 billion in cash and assumed debt to acquire all of SunCom’s assets, including 1.1 million subscribers in the southeastern United States, the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
