Tiscali expects sales to climb to EUR2bn in four years

The Italian internet service provider Tiscali says it sees its sales rising to more than EUR2 billion (USD2.97 billion) by 2012, up from a forecast of EUR1.3 billion in 2008. Gross operating profits are expected to reach EUR290 million next year and EUR600 million in 2012, with subscriber numbers rising from 3.3 million to four million over the same period. Tiscali offers dial-up and broadband internet services in Italy and the UK.
