New reseller targets Ukrainian immigrants

The Ukrainian cellular operator Astelit (which offers GSM services under the Life:) brand) has announced plans to launch as a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) in Italy. Life:) plans to launch in Italy in the first quarter of next year using network capacity supplied by 3G operator 3 Italia, Telecompaper reports. The firm will provide low cost calls between Italy and Ukraine to serve the estimated 200,000 Ukrainians living in Italy.
