The Croatian government has confirmed that it will sell 7% (5.73 million) of shares in incumbent telco T-Hrvatski Telekom (T-HT) to employees of the company at preferential terms. Both former and present employees will be entitled to buy shares at a 5% discount, with an additional 1% discount for every year served at the company. Following an IPO of a state-held 32.5% stake on the Zagreb and London stock exchanges last month, T-HT is owned by Germany’s Deutsche Telekom (51%), the state (9.5%), individual investors (25%), institutional investors (7.5%) and a Croatian war veterans’ fund (7%).
