Cincinnati Bell reports revenue rise

The US regional telco Cincinnati Bell has reported an 8% rise in third-quarter revenues to USD344 million. Net profits for the three months to 30 September were up 2% year-on-year at USD26 million. The firm’s CEO, Jack Cassidy, commented: ‘The momentum generated in Cincinnati Bell’s key growth area of wireless, Technology Solutions and DSL led to the eighth consecutive quarter of year-over-year revenue growth.’ The telco says 40% of its wireline phone customers also subscribe to its DSL-based high speed internet services.
