Partner announces 3Q results

Israeli cellco Partner Communications, which operates under the Orange brand and is a subsidiary of Hutchison Telecommunications International Limited, has announced that in the third quarter of 2007 revenues grew by 9% year-on-year to ILS1.6 billion (USD399 million). Operating profit for the three months ended 30 September 2007 jumped 22% to ILS390 million while net income climbed 15.9% to ILS214 million. The group’s subscriber base grew by 62,000 in the quarter to 2.8 million, including 488,000 3G users, giving it an estimated market share of 32%.
