Wind Hellas launches fixed packages

29 Oct 2007

Following the completion of its merger deal with fixed line operator Tellas earlier this month, Greek cellco Wind Hellas (formerly TIM Hellas) has launched fixed telephony and broadband internet access services. Wind says that its fixed line service will offer calls that are up to 21% cheaper than incumbent telco OTE’s rates, and it is also launching ADSL broadband services at download speeds of up to 12Mbps. Wind, controlled by the Italian subsidiary of Egyptian-owned Weather Investments, is offering discounts for customers who subscribe to more than one service.
