24 Oct 2007

Vendor Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) and German incumbent Deutsche Telekom (DT) today signed a wide-ranging agreement that makes NSN a ‘strategic partner’ to DT. Under the terms of the EUR300 million, five-year agreement, NSN will assume control of DT subsidiary Vivento Technical Services (VTS) and its 2,000 employees. In addition, NSN has been contracted to supply equipment and services for next-generation network (NGN) projects for several European T-Mobile subsidiaries, valued at up to EUR150 million.
