Saudi Telecom Company (STC) has announced the launch of a Local Roaming Number service available to users of its Al Jawal GSM mobile network who are visiting Saudi Arabia. The new service enables visitors to the Kingdom to use a local pre-paid mobile number once within Al Jawal network range, without having to buy a new SIM, regardless of handset make or model, according to a press release.
