Croatia’s prime minister Ivo Sanader has announced a decision to increase the size of a stake in T-Hrvatski Telekom (T-HT) that will be offered in an IPO, from 23% to 32.5% of total shares, due to the high level of demand. The shares are earmarked for institutional investors (7.5%) and retail investors (25%), and are scheduled to be listed on the Zagreb and London stock exchanges on 5 October. The government currently holds a 42% stake in the incumbent telco, which is 51% owned by Deutsche Telekom. The state previously transferred a 7% stake to a war veterans’ fund.
