TeliaSonera establishes wholesale network unit

Swedish telco TeliaSonera has announced that it will establish a domestic telecoms infrastructure subsidiary in the fourth quarter of this year. The new company will cover copper and fibre-optic networks and multiplexing, and sell its products on equal terms to TeliaSonera’s wholesale customers and the group’s own operations, according to a statement from the firm.
