More Maltese mobile megabytes for your money

19 Sep 2007

Maltese cellco Go Mobile has reduced its data tariffs to make 3.5G wireless services more affordable to a wider range of users, the company said in a release. Go says it is the only Maltese operator to offer nationwide broadband wireless internet and e-mail. Go’s so-called ‘Unlimited Plan’, offering internet and e-mail access both in Malta and abroad, is being offered at a promotional price of EUR22.99 (USD31.89) per month until 8 November, with a 5GB inclusive download limit. The service includes a free PC/laptop data card or a wireless USB modem, and users can enjoy data transfer speeds of up to 1.8Mbps (downlink). Lighter data users can subscribe to the Value Plan, which offers a 500MB bundle for EUR15 a month.
