17 Sep 2007

Indonesian telco Indosat says its cellular arm Satelindo has inked a deal with Nokia for the supply of a mobile e-mail solution. The cellco will take delivery of the Nokia Intellisync software platform, enabling it to address a growing and previously untapped market opportunity by focusing on the cost and ease of use of mobile e-mail and personal information management (PIM). The service, an enhancement of an existing service, labelled under Indosat’s mobile office brand, I- Mofis, is available immediately.
