Nokia Siemens pushes 3’s buttons

Nokia Siemens Networks has been chosen by Hutchison Whampoa-backed W-CDMA mobile operator Hi3G Access Sweden (3) to deploy a commercial 3G push-to-talk-over-cellular (PoC) service. PoC allows groups of subscribers to use their mobile handsets like walkie-talkies, communicating via a single push of a button. Nokia Siemens is providing a full hosted solution to 3, including a suite of network monitoring, operations and systems integration services.
