E-NET losses double to EUR7.8m

Limerick-based e-Nasc Eireann Teoranta (E-NET), the company that runs the Irish government’s Metropolitan Area Networks (MANs), has reported a near doubling of its cumulative losses in its fiscal year to 30 April 2007, according to a report in the Irish Independent citing figures filed at the Companies Office. E-NET posted losses of EUR7.8 million (USD10.5 million) in the year to end-April 2007, compared with EUR4.1 million in fiscal 2005/06.
