Regulator gets new head

South Africa’s telecoms regulator, Icasa, has appointed a new chief executive after the previous CEO resigned during an internal investigation into her conduct. Karabo Motlana will assume his new position on 3 September, replacing Jackie Manche who quit at the end of last year, midway through an inquiry into alleged breaches of the Public Finance Management Act and the Icasa Act, Business Day reports.
