France Telecom (FT) is reportedly facing demands for payments totalling EUR376 million (USD513.7 million) to direct marketing groups Filetech and Group/address, according to Thomson Financial citing a report in Les Echos. The paper says FT revealed the amount of the payment in its half-year financial results. The two marketing companies have been embroiled in unsuccessful court action with the incumbent over its telephone directories business. Les Echos says Filetech and Group/address have also requested that FT makes available basic information, updated daily, from the telephone directory.
