Bouygues reports revenue growth but warns on slower second half

10 Aug 2007

Bouygues Telecom has reported a 5.5% year-on-year rise in revenue for the first half of 2007. Sales came in at EUR2.29 billion (USD3.15 billion) as communication services turnover grew by 6.2% to EUR2.18 billion. The cellco warned however that growth will be lower in the second than the first due to a fall in roaming revenues and a reduced impact of Neo, an offer that was launched in March 2006. At the end of June 2007 Bouygues claimed 8.81 million subscribers.
