AT&T launches Alaskan WiMAX

AT&T’s Alaskan subsidiary AT&T Alascom has launched its first WiMAX wireless broadband network. The network has been deployed in the city of Juneau as part of a state-wide initiative to expand broadband internet services using WiMAX technology.
