TRA sets up site sharing committee

The UAE’s Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has set up a committee to preside over base station site sharing between the country’s incumbent wireless operators, Etisalat and du. The two cellcos currently share 30 mobile sites, but the TRA expects this to triple before the end of 2007.
