T-Mobile's HSDPA coverage extended to 40% of population

T-Mobile’s Hungarian mobile unit says it has extended its HSDPA coverage to 70 cities in the country, equating to 40% of the population. The operator claims its 3.5G service can now deliver connection speeds of up to 3.6Mbps (downlink) across the network, with certain parts of the capital Budapest achieving speeds of 7.2Mbps. T-Mobile Hungary is currently rolling out HSDPA coverage to new areas and enhancing existing coverage by improving indoor coverage in many parts of the country. As of today the operator claims to have signed up more than 100,000 subscribers to the service.
