Czech alternative operator Czech On Line (Volny) has launched a new IPTV service, VOLNY TV, offering almost 40 Czech and foreign TV stations, and other TV services for CZK297 (USD14.46) per month, including the set top box. In addition to the basic service, subscribers can sign up to first-run movie channels, on-line film rental (video-on-demand), HBO Digital and other services, for example photo album or games. At launch VOLNY TV is available on the operator’s own network Vršovice, Strašnice, Spořilov, Zahradní město and in parts of Vinohrady and Žižkov in Prague; it is also available in major parts of Brno. The company is also offering VOLNY TV as part of a triple-play package together with an unlimited high speed internet access connection (2Mbps) and voice calls, starting from CZK996 per month – including phone line rental. Customers who want to have VOLNY TV need to order or have a VOLNY internet service on VOLNY’s own network (based on LLU).
