Vodafone’s Irish unit added 10,000 net new subscribers in the three months to 30 June, to lift its total to close to 2.2 million. The company also reported 30,000 3G subscribers at that date, a rise of 50% quarter-on-quarter. However, average monthly revenue per user (ARPU) dipped by almost 7% to EUR45.40 (USD62.6) compared with the same period last year, although this was slightly up on the previous quarter, the company said.
