Ertach launches services in Concordia

Argentine broadband provider Ertach has invested USD250,000 installing a WiMAX base station in the city of Concordia, in Entre Ríos province, to start offering voice, data and internet services, reports BNamericas, quoting a company statement. In Entre Ríos the company currently provides coverage in provincial capital Paraná and in the towns of San Benito and Oro Verde. The operator has 220 base stations nationwide and its goal for 2007 is to migrate 70% of its network to WiMAX technology.
