Vodafone Romania launches fixed line services

Mobile operator Vodafone Romania has launched commercial residential fixed line services under the name Vodafone Acasa, as part of its Vodafone at Home range of packages. Vodafone Acasa is available nationwide in all areas covered by the cellco’s GSM network, and is being marketed as an alternative to traditional fixed line telephony, offering a range of services previously available only on mobiles, such as SMS on fixed line phones. Vodafone fixed line numbers have been allocated the prefix ‘0372’, accessible from all national fixed and mobile networks. Customers signing up to both Vodafone fixed and mobile services will receive a single bill.
