Pannon increases 3G/HSDPA coverage to nearly 60 settlements

Hungarian mobile operator Pannon has extended the coverage of its EDGE/W-CDMA/HSDPA networks to an additional 15 settlements in and around Lake Balaton. The latest expansion raises the number of settlements covered to 59, or 37% of the population, offering transmission rates of between 1.8Mbps and 3.6Mbps to HSDPA users in the region by the end of June.
