Siminn to deploy residential and business VoIP

BroadSoft, a provider of VoIP application software, has announced that Siminn (formerly Iceland Telecom) has selected its BroadWorks application platform to deliver residential and business VoIP services across Iceland. Expected to be launched later this year, the Siminn VoIP offerings will address the growing demand for IP-based services. The BroadWorks platform can deliver VoIP services in both a fixed and mobile environment.
