Telekom Slovenije migrates business users to new IP voice platform

12 Jun 2007

BroadSoft, a US-based provider of VoIP application software, has announced that Slovenia’s national PTO Telekom Slovenije has deployed a next-generation voice service for its enterprise customers, named Centreks, based on BroadSoft’s BroadWorks VoIP platform. The system was supplied and integrated by BroadSoft’s eastern European partner Iskratel. Launched in April, Centreks will supersede the company’s existing Centrex service. ‘Tens of thousands’ of Centrex end-users are expected to be migrated to the new BroadWorks-based service this year. The BroadWorks platform provides a range of VoIP applications, including hosted PBX, IP Centrex, mobile PBX, business trunking and residential broadband services, fully integrated into a single VoIP application platform.
