Time dotCom non-committal on speculation of 3G licence sale

8 Jun 2007

Time dotCom chairman Datuk Wan Muhamad Wan Ibrahim has refused to comment on rumours that shareholder Khazanah Nasional has proposed the operator sell its 3G licence as part of a wider restructuring plan. ‘We in the management are not privy to the decisions made by the shareholder. We don’t know.’ he said at the company’s annual general meeting. As at the end of March Khazanah Nasional owned a 30% stake in the company and 45.03% of Time Engineering, which holds a further 40.68% of Time dotCom.
