New rules on voice telephony market postponed until December

4 Jun 2007

The press secretary of the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC), Mariam Stepanyan, has announced that the approval of new rules governing the provision of domestic voice telephony services has been postponed until December 2007. Although most of the fine detail is in place, Stepanyan said that ‘supplementary elaboration’ was needed before they could come into force. ‘On the instruction of the PSRC Chairman Robert Nazaryan, the rules should be ready till 15 December and finally adopted on 30 December 2007, because they should be prepared properly’, Stepanyan said.
