T-Mobile’s Hungarian mobile unit has started a phased migration to a 7.2Mbps maximum theoretical connection on its 3G/HSDPA network up from the current 3.6Mbps downlink speed it offers. T-Mobile Hungary’s high speed network covers 27 major urban centres in the country and users can receive broadband mobile internet access via the company’s web’n’walk Net Card 3.6, which later on will be suitable for providing a downlink speed of 7.2 Mbps via a software upgrade.
