Poland’s Competition and Consumer Protection Court has overturned a PLZ100 million (USD35.6 million) fine imposed on Telekomunikacja Polska (TP) by regulatory body UKE on the grounds that the original decision was issued by a person who had been improperly appointed as UKE chairperson. The fine was imposed by the watchdog after it determined that the dominant Polish telco had failed to price its Neostrada internet offering based on the cost of supplying the service.
