Internet Initiative Japan (IIJ), one of Japan’s leading internet access and network solutions providers, yesterday announced its financial results for the fourth quarter and the full year ended 31 March 2007. In the full year the company reported revenues of USD485.3 million, up 14.5% year-on-year. Operating income was USD29.8 million (45.2%) and net income climbed 13.8% on 2005’s figure to USD46 million. IIJ said it had surpassed its annual target for all three financial indicators, but went on to report a 40.7% decrease in net income to USD9.8 million in its fiscal fourth quarter, as a result of an impairment loss on unlisted equity securities. Q4 revenue was USD144.8 million, up 5.5% year-on-year, and operating income was USD9.8 million (18.4%).
