Cablemas revenues rise 17%

Mexico’s second largest cableco Cablemas has reported a 17% increase in revenue for the three months ended 31 March 2007 to MXP639.9 million (USD59.2 million). Net income jumped from MXP51.6 million to MXP133.8 million. At the end of March the company had 198,471 high speed internet customers, up 48.2% and 26,567 IP telephony lines, an increase of 167%.
