TDC to reorganise

Danish telecoms group TDC said it will reorganise its business with effect from 1 July 2007 and merge several of its subsidiaries. TDC’s Nordic business will be reorganised to comprise the four business units Business Nordic, Fixed Nordic, Mobile Nordic and the existing cable TV unit, the group said. A merger of TDC Mobile International, TDC Services, TDC Mobil and certain minor subsidiaries into TDC will take place as soon as possible with effect retroactively from 1 January 2007, with the aim to simplify the group’s legal structure, TDC said. TDC Kabel TV will continue as a separate legal entity, 100% owned by TDC, it added.
