27 Apr 2007

Following the launch of Mobi Cedarcom’s wireless broadband service in Lebanon in December 2006, Cedarcom’s CEO Imad Tarabay has signed a cooperation agreement with other providers of services based on the iBurst standard to provide international roaming access. Via the agreement iBurst users will be able to roam in Lebanon, Malaysia, South Africa, Australia, Azerbaijan, Kenya, Tanzania, Norway, and Canada, with several new services in other countries expected to be added to the list over the coming months. There are currently around 60,000 iBurst users worldwide.
