German firm Unity Media has announced its 2006 full year results. The company is the Cologne-based holding company of cable operators iesy and ish, which serve homes in the Hesse and North Rhine-Westphalia regions. Revenues for the year were EUR599 million (USD790.8 million), up 5.6% from EUR567 million in 2005. EBITDA for 2006 stood at EUR269 million, up from EUR262 million, while the EBITDA margin was 45%. Capital expenditure in the twelve months to end-06 was EUR96 million. Broadband subscriptions at the year end were 125,000, up from 35,500 previously, and Unity’s fixed line telephony customer base rose from 13,000 to 58,000 in the same period. The actual figure for overall blended ARPU was not disclosed in the press release, although it was said to have risen by 10.7% in Q42006.
