Is anyone interested in OTE?

Telekom Austria says it is no longer interested in purchasing a stake in Greece’s former fixed line monopoly OTE, because the Greek telco was not willing to assign management competencies, Austrian national news agency APA reports. The Greek government holds 38.7% of OTE’s shares but is trying to sell a stake of up to 20%. Telekom Austria was the only potential suitor to have publicly expressed its interest in the stake, and the government has signaled that if no strategic partner comes forward it will opt for a stock market placement.
