DoCoMo launches new FOMA Raku-Raku basic phone based on Symbian OS

Japanese mobile operator NTT DoCoMo has launched a new 3G Raku-Raku basic phone based on Symbian’s operating system to cater for users who are interested primarily in user-friendly handsets with basic functions. Symbian started shipping the new model in Japan on 16 April. It is being manufactured by Symbian customer Fujitsu Limited and includes DoComo’s Mobile Oriented Applications Platform (MOAP).
