Telmex acquires two more cablecos

Telmex has signed agreements to acquire Colombian cable operators Cablecentro and Satelcaribe, continuing its acquisition spree in the country, writes BNamericas. Last year Telmex acquired three Colombian cablecos: Superview, Cable Pacífico and TV Cable, furthering its goal of offering triple-play services across the country. Cablecentro operates in 50 cities and towns throughout Colombia while Satelcaribe operates in 15.
