PanTel to offer voice over Wi-Fi services

Alternative fixed line operator PanTel, a unit of HTCC, will launch voice over Wi-Fi services this year. Marketing Director Ferenc Vallo told the press that ‘the pilot starts with 1,000 free accounts with existing clients and we plan to launch the commercial service in May or by the third quarter at the latest.’ PanTel estimates that 30% of its clients will subscribe to the new service by the end of 2007. Vallo declined to reveal details of the pricing of the new service.
