Entel has said it forecasts sales growth of 10% in 2007, up from the 3.4% achieved in 2006. Speaking at the Reuters Latin American Investment Summit, Entel Chief Financial Officer Felipe Ureta said his company plans to focus on its wireless business, Entel PCS, which accounts for 70% of its sales. ‘Our investments in 2007 will be focused on the mobile phone service, with emphasis on the quality of the network and service and innovative commercial and tariff platforms,’ Ureta said. ‘We are not concerned about being first in terms of the number of clients, what we’re really interested in is capturing value,’ he added.
