Enforta expands wireless broadband

Russian wireless ISP Enforta has awarded a wireless broadband contract to Israeli equipment supplier Alvarion. The vendor will supply 5.2GHz wireless networks covering 4.5 million people in six cities: Voronezh, Lipetsk, Penza, Samara, Tula, and Yaroslavl. The new infrastructure expands Enforta’s total coverage to 24 regional capitals. Eight more networks are expected to be added in the second half of the year.
