MTS-Uzbekistan's subscriber base increases by 7% in February

According to a press release from Russian cellco MTS, its Uzbeki subsidiary MTS-Uzbekistan (formerly known as Uzdunrobita), increased its subscriber base by 7% in February 2007 to take its total to 1.63 million users. MTS-Uzbekistan is the country’s largest cellco in terms of subscribers with an approximate 55% market share.
