TeliaSonera's Yoigo mulls Jazztel buy

TeliaSonera’s Yoigo subsidiary may be considering acquiring Jazztel PLC with backing from Actividades de Construccion y Servicios (ACS), La Gaceta de los Negocios rumour column reported. ACS was a former core shareholder in Spain’s fourth UMTS operator Xfera which was bought up by TeliaSonera and later renamed Yoigo. According to La Gaceta, speculation also continues to circulate that Jazztel may attempt to acquire Deutsche Telekom’s Spanish ISP arm Ya.com.
