Deutsche Telekom drops T-One

8 Mar 2007

German incumbent Deutsche Telekom (DT) has stopped marketing its fixed-mobile service T-One, reports Telecompaper. The T-One phone automatically selects the user’s wireless local network when he is at home, or his GSM network when away from the home. The service, launched in the middle of last year, only had around two thousand users. DT’s withdrawal leaves only Arcor and BT Germany now providing similar services, Arcor for residential customers and BT Germany for business users.
