More than two million subscribers left FT in 2006

According to data published by the French telecoms regulator Arcep, more than 2.11 million France Télécom (FT) customers cancelled their subscription last year to opt for triple-play packages being offered by rival operators. The regulator added that the rates of people turning away from the incumbent’s fixed line service increased fourfold in 2006.
